It is therefore reasonable that society expects students to make some contribution to the cost of their education. However, expecting students to fund their own education fully may cause students to avoid courses that lead to less <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">well-paying jobs <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">such as the sciences, nursing, and teaching.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Society as a whole also benefits from having a more <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">educated community<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and should support people who make an effort to become educated.
