L\u00f2ng t\u1eeb c\u00faa c\u00e1c b\u1ea1n ch\u00fang t\u00f4i lu\u00f4n ghi nh\u1edb. L\u00e0 \u0111\u1ea1i di\u1ec7n cho th\u00e2n, kh\u1ea9u, \u00fd c\u1ee7a Guru T\u00f4n Qu\u00fd Orgyen Kusum Lingpa, t\u00f4i xin g\u1eedi l\u1eddi tri \u00e2n s\u00e2u s\u1eafc t\u1edbi c\u00e1c h\u1ecdc tr\u00f2 c\u1ee7a Lama Sang kh\u1eafp n\u01a1i tr\u00ean th\u1ebf gi\u1edbi.<\/p>\n<p>V\u00e0o th\u1eddi kh\u1eafc n\u00e0y, ch\u00fang t\u00f4i bu\u1ed9c ph\u1ea3i chia s\u1ebb v\u1edbi c\u00e1c b\u1ea1n m\u1ed9t tin \u0111au bu\u1ed3n m\u00e0 tai c\u00e1c b\u1ea1n kh\u00f4ng mu\u1ed1n nghe v\u00e0 tim c\u00e1c b\u1ea1n s\u1ebd ch\u00ecm v\u00e0o \u0111au kh\u1ed5. Nh\u01b0 t\u1ea5t c\u1ea3 \u0111\u1ec1u bi\u1ebft, s\u1ee9c kh\u1ecfe c\u1ee7a Lama Sang nh\u1eefng n\u0103m g\u1ea7n \u0111\u00e2y kh\u00f4ng t\u1ed1t, Ng\u00e0i l\u00e2m tr\u1ecdng b\u1ec7nh. H\u01a1n n\u1eefa, Lama Sang th\u01b0\u1eddng n\u00f3i r\u1eb1ng v\u00e0o n\u0103m 76 tu\u1ed5i, m\u1ed9t ch\u01b0\u1edbng n\u1ea1n nan gi\u1ea3i cho th\u1ecd m\u1ea1ng c\u1ee7a Ng\u00e0i s\u1ebd t\u1edbi. Ng\u00e0i \u0111\u00e3 nh\u1eafc t\u1edbi \u0111i\u1ec1u n\u00e0y tr\u01b0\u1edbc h\u00e0ng tr\u0103m, h\u00e0ng ngh\u00ecn ng\u01b0\u1eddi.<\/p>\n<p>Tr\u01b0\u1edbc \u0111\u00f3, n\u0103m 23 tu\u1ed5i, Lama Sang c\u00f3 vi\u1ebft v\u1ec1 linh ki\u1ebfn N\u00fai L\u1eeda R\u1ef1c Ch\u00e1y, trong \u0111\u00f3 n\u00f3i r\u1eb1ng v\u00e0o n\u0103m Th\u1ed5 Ng\u01b0u Ng\u00e0i s\u1ebd tr\u1edf v\u1ec1 c\u00f5i T\u1ecbnh n\u00e0y m\u1ed9t l\u1ea7n n\u1eefa. Nh\u01b0 v\u1eady, c\u00e1c nh\u00e2n duy\u00ean h\u1ed9i t\u1ee5, \u0111i\u1ec1u b\u1ea5t h\u1ea1nh nh\u1ea5t \u0111\u00e3 \u0111\u1ed9t ng\u1ed9t x\u1ea3y ra. Ng\u00e0y 26 th\u00e1ng hai n\u0103m 2009, t\u1ee9c m\u1ed3ng Hai T\u1ebft T\u1ea1ng n\u0103m Th\u1ed5 Ng\u01b0u, B\u00f4ng Sen r\u1ef1c s\u00e1ng C\u00e2u Chuy\u1ec7n Cu\u1ed9c \u0110\u1eddi Ng\u00e0i \u0111\u00e3 vi\u00ean m\u00e3n n\u1edf bung l\u1ea7n cu\u1ed1i, T\u00e2m c\u1ee7a Lama Rinpoche \u0111\u00e3 du h\u00e0nh t\u1edbi c\u00f5i an b\u00ecnh.<\/p>\n<p>Tuy nhi\u00ean, c\u00f3 m\u00f4t \u0111i\u1ec1u m\u00e0 ch\u00fang ta, h\u1eadu du\u1ec7 c\u1ee7a Ng\u00e0i, c\u00f3 th\u1ec3 hoan h\u1ec9 l\u1ea5y l\u00e0m \u0111\u1ed9ng l\u1ef1c nu\u00f4i l\u1edbn t\u00e2m ch\u00ed th\u00e0nh, \u0111\u00f3 l\u00e0 b\u1ea5t ch\u1ea5p tr\u1ecdng b\u1ec7nh Lama Sang kh\u00f4ng h\u1ec1 \u0111au \u0111\u1edbn. Khi b\u1ec7nh n\u1eb7ng k\u00e9o d\u00e0i, ch\u1eefa tr\u1ecb v\u00f4 v\u1ecdng, l\u1eabn l\u00fac \u0111\u1ed1i m\u1eb7t v\u1edbi c\u00e1i ch\u1ebft c\u1eadn k\u1ec1, l\u1eddi n\u00f3i c\u1ee7a Lama Sang lu\u00f4n \u1ea5m \u00e1p v\u00e0 \u0111\u1ea7y h\u00f3m h\u1ec9nh. Nh\u1ee5c th\u00e2n Ng\u00e0i kh\u00f4ng n\u1eb7ng m\u00f9i nh\u01b0 th\u01b0\u1eddng th\u1ea5y \u1edf ng\u01b0\u1eddi tr\u1ecdng b\u1ec7nh, tr\u00e1i l\u1ea1i n\u00f3 ph\u1ea3ng ph\u1ea5t h\u01b0\u01a1ng th\u01a1m c\u1ee7a \u0111\u00e0n h\u01b0\u01a1ng tr\u1eafng. Nh\u1eefng ai g\u1ea7n g\u0169i ch\u0103m s\u00f3c \u0111\u1ec1u th\u1ea5y Ng\u00e0i lu\u00f4n t\u1ecfa m\u00f9i tinh khi\u1ebft v\u00e0 t\u01b0\u01a1i m\u00e1t nh\u01b0 n\u01b0\u1edbc trong l\u00e0nh, nh\u01b0 h\u01b0\u01a1ng li\u1ec7u qu\u00fd. T\u1ea5t c\u1ea3 ch\u00fang t\u00f4i \u0111\u1ec1u t\u1eadn m\u1eaft ch\u1ee9ng ki\u1ebfn, qua \u00e1nh m\u1eaft c\u1ee7a Ng\u00e0i v\u00e0 qua nhi\u1ec1u d\u1ea5u hi\u1ec7u kh\u00e1c, r\u1eb1ng Lama Sang \u0111\u00e3 \u0111\u1ea1t t\u1edbi c\u1ea5p \u0111\u1ed9 cao t\u1ed9t c\u1ee7a KI\u1ebeN v\u00e0 THI\u1ec0N.<\/p>\n<p>C\u00e1c b\u1ea1n h\u1eefu c\u1ee7a t\u00f4i, nh\u1eefng n\u0103m th\u00e1ng qua, b\u1ea5t ch\u1ea5p c\u1ea3 nh\u1eefng tr\u1edf ng\u1ea1i to l\u1edbn, ch\u00fang ta \u0111\u00e3 h\u1ebft s\u1ee9c c\u1ed1 g\u1eafng l\u00e0m t\u1ea5t c\u1ea3 nh\u1eefng g\u00ec c\u00f3 th\u1ec3, \u0111\u1ec3 ch\u0103m lo cho s\u1ee9c kh\u1ecfe c\u1ee7a Lama Sang. Ch\u00fang ta \u0111\u00e3 t\u00ecm nh\u1eefng b\u1ea3o d\u01b0\u1ee3c t\u1ed1t nh\u1ea5t, ki\u1ebfm nh\u1eefng th\u1ea7y thu\u1ed1c, nh\u1eefng b\u1ec7nh vi\u1ec7n gi\u1ecfi nh\u1ea5t. X\u00e9t t\u1eeb ph\u01b0\u01a1ng di\u1ec7n \u0111\u01b0\u1eddng tu th\u00ec c\u00f4ng \u0111\u1ee9c t\u00edch l\u0169y nh\u1edd c\u00e1c thi\u1ec7n h\u1ea1nh n\u00e0y l\u00e0 kh\u00f4ng th\u1ec3 nh\u1ecf. M\u1eb7c d\u1ea7u v\u1eady, \u0111i\u1ec1u ph\u1ea3i x\u1ea3y ra ng\u00f5 h\u1ea7u ng\u0103n l\u1ea1i \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c, cho d\u00f9 b\u1eb1ng ph\u01b0\u01a1ng ti\u1ec7n n\u00e0o. And so there is a reason why we have come to know one another so well and become such good friends. The reason for this is the presence of conducive conditions and the existence of outstanding aspirations; we can be quite sure about that. Because of our connection that springs from conducive conditions and fine aspirations, whenever any one of us goes through difficult times, the rest of us step forward and try to help out as much as we can.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In recent years, all of you friends, wherever you may be found throughout the world, have provided incredible support to Lama Sang and indeed to all of our projects, and shown utmost concern for us in every possible way. Your kindness is indelible and always will be remembered. In keeping with the current situation, speaking as the representative of body, speech and mind of our precious guru Orgyen Kusum Lingpa, I wish to offer my sincere thanks, one hundred times over, for the kindness of all of Lama Rinpoche&#8217;s students, wherever you may be found all over the world.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;At this time, we are left with no choice but to share with you news that your ears will find repugnant and will bring deep sadness to your hearts. All of us know perfectly well that in recent years the physical health of Lama Rinpoche has not been strong, and that in fact he has had a very serious illness. Beyond that, what you should also now know is that Lama Sang has continually told us that a very serious impediment to his life would occur during his seventy-sixth year, and that it would be very doubtful whether he could overcome this impediment. He is known to have said this repeatedly to hundreds and thousands of people.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Moreover, when he was 23 years old, Lama Rinpoche wrote of a pure vision he had of the Blazing Fire Mountain charnel ground, wherein he said that in the earth cattle year he would return once more to that pure realm. And so in this way, through the coming together of these numerous and varied causes and conditions, the most unfortunate of all circumstances has suddenly come to pass. <strong>On February 26, 2009, on the second day of the new Tibetan earth ox year, precisely at 9:00 o&#8217;clock in the morning, <\/strong> as the final unfurling of the glistening flower of his Life Story, the Mind of Lama Rinpoche journeyed to the state of peace.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Still, one thing in which we, his students, can truly rejoice with gladness and be inspired to greater faith regarding Lama Rinpoche&#8217;s Life Story, is that despite having what is renowned to be a very serious illness, he actually suffered no pain stemming from it. Even while facing the dangers of approaching death and while remaining ill for an extended period of time, without any real prospect for recovery, his speech at all times remained warm and full of good humor. His physical body had none of the odor we would usually associate with someone so gravely ill, but rather gave off a scent like that of fine white sandalwood. In fact, all of his attendants can attest to the fact that he always smelled clean and fresh, like pure water or other fine fragrances. All of us could see quite clearly, too, through the gaze of his eyes and in other ways, signs and indications that he had reached a very high level of view and strength of meditative experience.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My dear and true friends, these recent years have been a time in which we have struggled mightily, trying everything we possibly could, with great effort and sacrifice, to take care of the physical health of our Lama Rinpoche. We found and applied the finest medicines and treatments available anywhere in the world, and likewise made connections with the best doctors and hospitals too. From a spiritual perspective, this served as an accumulation of virtue that was by no means modest. Spiritual rituals and dharani recitations in uncountable numbers were performed and accomplished as well.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Beyond that, vast numbers of disciples offered innumerable, fully pure prayers and aspirations from the bottoms of their hearts with the purest intentions. Even so, this situation came about which was simply too difficult to avert by any means; and so, I ask all of you to please be so kind as to understand that this is what has come to pass.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;One thing that is extremely important for all of you to do right now, without wavering in your minds and with stable faith and pure outlook, is to supplicate the Guru and receive the four empowerments over and over again. It would be unproductive simply to allow our minds to be overcome with suffering and sadness, or to lose sight of the truth of impermanence. We must be able to see the living example of our Lama Rinpoche passing into the state of peace as a profound, personal instruction that symbolically points us toward an understanding of the true condition of impermanence. You can also be sure that we will have the opportunity to discuss these matters more fully and in more detail in the near future.
