BOHO DECOR’S FACTORY HAS EARNED LEED GOLD CERTIFICATION

BOHO Decor at which Newtecons take on the role of General Contractor is honored to be the first furniture factory in Vietnam to achieve LEED Gold Certification by The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).

Specifically, the furniture factory has met the following requirements:

▪ Using Solar Roof System with maximum allowable capacity (1MWp)

▪ Tree density reaches 27% (required LEED standard is 25%)

▪ Natural ventilation is applied to the entire Factory

▪ Using energy-efficient and water-saving appliances

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the most widely used green building rating system in the world with many stringent criteria. LEED certification is a globally recognized symbol of sustainability achievement and leadership. To save energy and use it efficiently not only reduce costs for business but also play an important role in building a modern life, ensuring energy security, developing sustainably and protecting the environment.
