NEWTECONS AND VIETRAVEL CELEBRATE THE GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY OF THE VIETRAVEL LUXURY TOURISM AND SERVICE COMPLEX PROJECT IN HUE
On November 24th, 2020, The General Contractor – Newtecons JSC and Vietnam Tourism and Transport Marketing Joint Stock Company – Vietravel organized the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the “Vietravel Luxury Tourism and Service Complex Tower” project, locatedat 01 Nguyen Hue, Hue City, Thua Thien Hue province.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Leaders of the People’s Committee of Thua Thien – Hue Province, the People’s Committee of Hue City, Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Construction, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Tourism, Department of Van Chemistry – Sports along with leaders of departments, branches and unions. Representitives on behalf of the Developer, Vietravel,included Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky – Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Vo Quang Lien Kha – Member of the Board of Directors cum Deputy General Director, and leaders of affiliated units, together with representatives of Newtecons who has been appointed as the Main Contractor, and the appointed Project management Consultant Bureau Veritas Vietnam Company Limited.
The “Vietravel Luxury Tourism and Service Complex” project is constructed on a total land area of 1,015.3 m2, and includes 6 floors, 2 basements, 1 mezzanine with total construction floor area of 4,778.4 m2. The total investment of the project is approximately 140 billion VND and is expected to be completed and put into use by the end of 2021. The project will offer a full range of high-end tourism services in Hue city, while retaining the ancient features with its own style.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky – Chairman of Vietravel’s Board of Directors affirmed: “This groundbreaking ceremony is one of the most important recent events for both Hue city and Vietravel. This is the first project in a chain of high-end tourism service projects serving Vietravel’s travel ecosystem. When completed and put into operation, the project will contribute to the realization developing the ancient capital of Hue into a tourism and service focal point of the Central region, promoting tourism development, and supporting socio-economic development of the city in the future ”.
