NEWTECONS AND T&T COMMENCE KEY PROJECT IN AN GIANG PROVINCE
On January 10th, Newtecons in cooperation with Vinh Thien Da Nang Co., Ltd. (a member of T&T Group) held a ground-breaking ceremony to commence construction of a key residential complex at Long Xuyen city, An Giang Province. This is set to be the most significant real estate project commenced in the Mekong Delta since this year.
The commencement ceremony was honored to have the presence of leadership of An Giang Province along with Mr. Do Quang Hien – Chairman and CEO of T&T Group and Mr. Tran Kim Long – General Director of Newtecons.
The project located in My Binh ward, covers an area of 3.5 hectares with investment capital of nearly VND2.4 trillion (US$103 million). Once completed, the residential complex will consist of 118 apartments along with other modern facilities, including hotels, shopping and conference centers. Under the project design, 40% of the land area will be used for civic infrastructure, including parks, transportation system and public facilities, which are expected to promote a green life-style in An Giang province.
Chairman of An Giang province People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh shared his expectation of the mixed-use complex combining commercial services with the design of “The magnificent European street on the Hau Giang line” which is highly anticipated to be the “bright pearl” of the province, a regional destination, and the pride of the local people.
“After the project is completed, a modern mixed use residential and commercial complex will be formed, combining architecture, technical infrastructure, and social infrastructure in a sustainable direction, protecting the environment, and contributing to beautifying the urban landscape with the creation of an architectural highlight. This project will meet the needs of high-class accommodation and modern trade of Long Xuyen city” Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Deputy General Director of T&T Group, emphasized in his speech at the project ground-breaking ceremony.
The commencement of this project is a milestone for Newtecons in An Giang province as the first major project in the region. 2021 has seen a positive beginning for Newtecons, which has seen strong growth in 2020 and this trend continuing in 2021 as Newtecons is recognized as a major General Contractor providing confidence and value-add delivery on many large-scale projects across Vietnam.
