NEWTECONS SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED THE TRANSFER BEAM AT THE SÓNG PROJECT

On the night of 7/5/2020, the atmosphere at The Sóng project became “more heat” than ever. Newtecons Site Management Team is ready for the transfer beam with concrete up to 1800m3 and 370 tons of steel at a height of 6.5m. The Site Management Team has mobilized more than 65 concrete trucks, 4 boom pumps, 4 horizontal pumps and 4 mixing stations of 2 concrete suppliers to ensure the continuous supply of concrete during the pouring process.

This transfer beam is a special component applied cooling system to cool large concrete blocks with heat up to 90 degrees C. This system is operated by pumps that bring ice water into the cooling pipe passing through concrete, combined with high bay lamp under the pouring block and heat-proofing plastic fabrics to cover the concrete surface after pouring in order to balance the heat.

Nearly 10 hours passed, until dawn on May 8, 2020, although Newtecons Site Management Team was tired, they still maintained enthusiasm, and successfully conquered the transfer beam that meeting the progress and quality. Immediately after completion of transfer beam, Newtecons Site Management Team will continue with the structural items of typical floors.
